Shreya is the passion project of founders Ashley Hendrickson and Jamie Kruse. Ashley and Jamie met in April of 2022 during a Reiki training program and became fast friends. They quickly realized their lives shared many similar experiences and more importantly, they shared a passion for helping others navigate their healing journey. Ashley’s background and passion is in Functional Medicine. She is a National Board-Certified Health Coach and FDN-Practitioner. For the last 10 years Ashley has been on her own healing journey with a focus on healing her physical body. As she worked to find answers that traditional medicine could not provide, she discovered functional medicine and hasn’t looked back since. Between her time in practice with an MD, in private practice and working as a Functional Medicine consultant and Health Educator she felt the one thing missing from this amazing wellness approach was a focus on mental health.
Jamie and Ashley have a shared dream to build a collaborative wellness center where all healing modalities are represented and available to their clients. They believe that individuals cannot fully heal until their mental, physical and emotional health are all being addressed and supported. As a result of their shared dream and approach to healing, Shreya was formed in June of 2022. Shreya is a true wellness collaborative. where you will have access to a large group of talented and passionate healthcare practitioners that will support you on every step on your healing journey. Shreya offers Psycho therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage, functional medicine health coaching, IV nutritional therapy, IV detox and chelation therapy, IV ozone therapy, HRT, Reiki, sound healing, yoga, group sessions, meditation classes, all while offering a strong sense of community.
At Shreya our focus is you and supporting your healing. We are committed to guiding you to the practitioner and treatment that will serve you best depending on your individual needs and where you are in your journey.
“The good (shreya) and the pleasant (preya) are two different things. They motivate a person to pursue two different goals. The one who embraces the good meets with auspiciousness. But the one who chooses the pleasant is lost.”
—Katha Upanishad 1.2.1
According to Yoga International, The path of shreya, goodness, is a way out of the maze of worldly charms and temptations. Shreya is based on vidya, knowledge. It means having right understanding about the true purpose and meaning of life, and knowing that attaining such understanding requires commitment. We need to discipline our mind and senses, and live a balanced lifestyle: eat right, exercise regularly, sleep and wake on time, promote harmony and peace in our relationships, and do our spiritual practices daily.
To tread the path of shreya, set a goal—however small at first—and honor it no matter what. Each time you exert effort aligned with your higher intentions, you are practicing Shreya—whether choosing to be tolerant of someone who has criticized you, or refraining from going out to party so you can get up and meditate in the morning.
This path is initially harder, and seemingly less enjoyable, but its effects are beneficial and long-lasting.
